Spicy Potato Bread Pakora | Recipe by Masala Curry Channel

Aloo bread pakora with hot tea. Oh yea! Let’s learn it –

INGREDIENTS for potato masala mix –
– boiled potatoes 550 gm
– chopped onion 160 gm
– grated ginger 20 gm
– green chillies 5
– chopped green chillies 5
– salt 1 tsp
– red chilly powder 1 tsp
– black pepper 1 tsp
– garam masala 1 tsp
– chaat masala 1 tsp

INGREDIENTS for gram flour / besan –
– garam flour / besan 150 gm
– salt 1/2 tsp
– red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
– black pepper 1/2 tsp
– chaat masala 1/2 tsp
– turmeric 1/2 tsp
– bread as needed
– oil for fry

RECIPE for potato masala –
1. In a bowl, take 550 gm of boiled potatoes.
2. Add 160 gm chopped onions, 20 gm grated ginger, 5 chopped green chillies, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp chaat masala. Mix and mash well.

Potato mix is ready at this time.

RECIPE for besan (gram flour) mix –

1. In a bowl, take 150 gm of besan (gram flour).
2. Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp chaat masala, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder. Mix well and make a smooth thick batter as shown in the video. Don’t use excessive water.
3. Spread potato mix on the bread and cover it with another slice of bread. Cut it diagonally. Dip into batter and fry in med heat oil.
4. Fry 3 mins each side medium heat.

Serve hot with sauce.
