Bhindi masala or Okra masala is easy to make and it is semi dry. With added onions make it a quick and tasty recipe.
Bhindi (Okra) – 320 gm
Onion – 140 gm
Olive oil – 4 tbsp
Green chilly chopped – 3
Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
Red chilly pepper – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
1. In a cooking pan, add 4 tbsp Olive oil, add 320 gm Bhindi, and let it cook for 7- 10 minutes on high heat, give it a stir after every 1-2 minutes.
2. Then add 140 gm Onion, add 3 chopped Green chillies, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp Black pepper, 1 tsp Red chilly powder, 1 tsp Garam masala, 1 tsp Turmeric powder and mix it well.
3. Now, cover the lid for 5-7 minutes on low heat.
4. when open the lid, mix it and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Now Bhindi is ready to Serve.
